Giant ferris wheel carried by VSE steered trailers!
VSE recently delivered the second set of VSE Advanced steering systems for a giant Ferris Wheel built by Mondial. The 45 metres tall wheel is carried by 3 trailers, each equipped with 4 Gigant axles of which 3 are electronically steered by a VSE Advanced 3EB system. The trailers also form the base of the ferris wheel by connecting them side-by-side. Therefore, the demands with respect to manoeuvrability during transport and positioning are very high. By using VSE Advanced steering systems, the trailers could be built very light and low, so that the loading capacity and loading hight could both be maximised.
