VSE becomes part of the HÜBNER Group

We are pleased to inform you that VSE has been taken over in full with immediate effect by the German HÜBNER Group – a leading international supplier to the bus and rail industry. In HÜBNER we have found a partner who has recognised the potential of our technical expertise and will enable us to gain greater market access – with the associated potential for growth. 

The HÜBNER Group is primarily known for its transition systems, which you will find in buses and rail vehicles all over the world. The group of companies from Kassel in central Germany long ago began expanding its product portfolio for transition systems and elastomer sealing systems for buses and rail vehicles – in which the company is the market leader – beyond its previous mainstays. 

The company already includes the chassis specialist Hemscheidt, which develops and produces chassis systems at the locations in Haan near Düsseldorf and Feucht near Nuremberg. The common goal of HÜBNER, Hemscheidt and VSE is to also achieve a leading position in the market for sophisticated chassis solutions for commercial vehicles, buses and rail vehicles. VSE and Hemscheidt will form the HÜBNER Chassis Technology business unit for this purpose. 

For you as our customer, almost nothing will change. At VSE, the same contact persons will continue to be available to you under the same contact details. You will continue to enjoy our technical expertise and the quality of our products. Together with HÜBNER and Hemscheidt, however, we can drive developments forward more strongly and bring them to market maturity more quickly – which will also enable us to better meet the increasing demands on chassis solutions.
