Our systems provide a number of additional functions that contribute to the effectiveness and performance of your vehicle.
One example is transverse levelling, which automatically levels the vehicle before tipping the load or off-loading a container.
SUSTAINABILITY
A VSE steering system uses little energy. The energy supply comes from a small motor-driven steering pump or from the excess capacity of a steering pump already present for the front axles.
Energy savings in combination with the light weight results in fuel savings that can be as high as 5%!
ELECTRIC TRUCKS
Hybrid and electric vehicles have become so common that they no longer turn heads. Promoting the shift to electric and hybrid trucks is also a priority on the political agenda. As a result, the auxiliary systems in trucks with combustion engines are increasingly electrically driven.
VSE systems can be electrically driven, which makes them ideally suited for electrification of auxiliary systems and for hybrid and electric trucks.

Because trucks are often converted at a later time, it is possible to build in steering systems afterwards. We offer a range of retrofit versions for this purpose.
VSE Electronic Rigid Axle Steering
VSE Electronic Rigid Axle Steering is an electrohydraulic steering system for driven rigid axles. Even a driven axle with high axle load can be steered, through separate control of two hydraulic cylinders. The standard driven truck axle can be used for this.
