Integrated suspension, damping and ride-height control in one compact unit

Emergency and recovery vehicles require stable handling, off-road capability, and precise height and level control during operations. HPS Advanced is a single integrated unit combining hydropneumatic suspension, damping, sensors, a motorised pump unit and active height control, developed for the next generation of fire engines, ambulances and recovery platforms. Series production is scheduled to begin in 2030.

Why choose HPS Advanced for emergency and recovery vehicles?

Active stabilisation under varying loads and terrain
The HPS Advanced system continuously monitors ride height, system pressure and driving dynamics. It then actively adjusts the suspension to ensure stable and predictable handling in varying loads and terrains.

Everything integrated into one system
The HPS Advanced system combines sensors, a motorised pump unit and active level control in a single, compact design. This reduces the number of components, maintenance requirements and susceptibility to faults.

More than 30% space saving compared with air suspension systems
With a design that is over 30% more compact than comparable air suspension systems, HPS Advanced offers greater flexibility in the design of support and recovery vehicles.
