Electronic Motor Steering — rear-axle steering for bus platforms towards 2028

The next step after ETS is EMS: an electro-hydraulic steering system featuring more direct motor control, a more compact system architecture, and development to the ASIL-D standard. Tailored to the requirements of modern and future bus platforms, where electrification, limited installation space and manoeuvrability are becoming increasingly crucial, the system is scheduled for launch in 2028.

EMS is being developed together with a limited number of vehicle manufacturers. This is a co-development programme, not a standard customer-supplier trajectory.
